The ends of this black utility nylon cord necklace are tied Figure 8 knots and the clasp is our ever-popular solid sterling silver Functional Carabiner Miniature. As this clasp is positioned in front, you may add other pendants or charms, as desired.

Modeled by gracious Heather, I’ve come to refer to this necklace as the "Heather Necklace" as shorthand when I’m making or packaging this nylon and sterling silver climber's necklace.

As a safety feature, this rock climbing necklace has a sterling break-away link at the back, so that if the necklace is ever caught in something, the necklace will break.
