Solid Sterling Silver Climbing Rope Chain Necklace with Optional Pendants

A seamed snake chain necklace with detailed figure 8 knots ends, that fasten together with a miniature functional carabiner to complete the necklace.

Rock Climbing Jewelry's ever versatile locking D functional carabiner miniature is the clap holding the necklace together, and doubles as a hanger for other pendants or charms. You can add your own charms or pendants to the necklace by un-screwing the locking nut and pressing the carabiner gate open, inserting the carabiner through the pendant bail and then closing and locking the gate.

If you already have one of our functional miniature carabiners, this climbing rope chain will complete a climbing rope chain necklace, without having to buy the whole assembly.

This Replacement Climbing Rope Chain is made with sterling silver seamed snake chain attached to our sterling silver cast figure eight knot chain ends.

More Necklace Details

I selected sterling seamed snake chain as it resembles climbing rope. The necklace is made using this chain fastened to carefully hand cast and finished figure 8 knots that I create in wax and then transform into solid sterling silver.

Our first sale of the climbing rope chain necklace was in early 2002. We have sold thousands since then and this necklace remains popular today.

Some of our customers have worn the necklace constantly for years. 

We cut the necklaces to a length not counting the carabiner, so each size of chain will be approximately 5/8 of an inch longer when the necklace is worn as a choker.

Every one of the rock climbing themed optional pendants are handmade by us in solid sterling silver.
